NRI Lovebirds choose Udaipur for their Pre Wedding Shoot

He’s a banker with the Bank of Melbourne, Australia. She completed an MBA from the University of Sunderland, London, UK and is now looking to invest in the childcare or service industry. Their story bests the cross-continental love stories. Swapnil and Richa fell in love across hemispheres!
“We met for the first time at the taxation office where I worked when I was studying in Australia,” Richa remembers, “Things started there – coffees, dates and in no time we were inseparable. We’re quite different from each other but that is also what bonds us together.”
Swapnil went to London to pay Richa a visit in January last year. She smiles, “He carried a ring in a nut-box the entire day and I didn’t have a clue! We went on the London cruise on the Thames and just as we passed the London Eye he proposed to me, holding the ring. He took me completely by surprise! It was such a happy moment and of course, I said ‘yes!’”
The couple decided to do their pre-wedding shoot across different locations in Udaipur. “The city itself evokes royalty,” Richa explains, “And since we’re getting married at Devigarh Palace we thought we’d shoot at the location and also explore other palaces in the city for some variety in geography and image concepts.”
With the venue decided, the couple went into planning mode. “We worked on the plan for months,” the bride-to-be reveals, “We wanted perfection through the shoot. Six months prior, we’d already started deciding on our wardrobes for the shoot. Then we met Mahesh and Vikas of Picture Together. They helped translate our imagination into reality. We were blown away by their storytelling on film and without a doubt, we wanted them onboard!”
With the planning on point, Swapnil and Richa were able to enjoy their pre-wedding shoot and were delighted to encounter some truly memorable moments. “The experience was as close to perfect as it gets,” Richa says brightly. Swapnil agrees, “At the stable shoot, the weather was brilliant and Mahesh and Vikas did such an excellent job of capturing all the fun we were having, all the while giving us some brilliant ideas on location.” Richa also loved the underwater shoot at Devigarh Palace, “The water was freezing and that was a challenge but it’s funny how we really enjoyed the glitz of it all. It felt so glamourous.”
“It was so much fun working with the whole team of Picture Together,” the couple nod in unison, “They are open to client ideas and are also very reassuring. They’re always up to try something new and will wow you at every step of the way. They were accommodating and gracious and we’re simply overjoyed at how the pictures have turned out!”
